My god bittorrent sucks!

I don't see why everyone raves about it. It's slow, rarely works, and just crap.

What sparked this you ask?

Well, yesterday I was downloading an album for many hours, and wouldn't you believe it, it lost the connection at 96%!

ARGH.

I've gotten tons of stuff from bittorrent, a few things I haven't been able to get all of, but it's better than any other file sharing system.

Of course newsgroups are better, but bittorrent bashing is usually just done by people wanting to look super cool.

Bit torrent was cool before all t he sites started getting shut down. All the sites I went to for torents anyway. I don't bother with it anymore.

newsbins can be a pain in the ass as well, missing 1 file of a rar of 300. all in all, nothing is perfect. you are stealing shit so it shouldn't be easy.

Exactly...I still use bit torrent...the torrents stay active far longer then usenet posts....and there are some really old things that I can find on bittorrent that I can't find anywhere else.

I also download TV shows from bittorrent...


Usenet is faster and more secure then bittorrent....but bittorrent is still nice

is the tracker down? if not just leave bittorent open until someone else connects.

Yeah I know there are still tons of sites out there. But I've lost interest in downloading stuff now anyways. I still download porn from Empornium on occasion but that's all.
