Jesus god man! I've gotten in trouble once for DLing a movie while it was still out in threaters. I stopped doing that...

I figured that's how they gotcha. Maybe they have a script running that noticed how much BW you are using...

Doobie, what exactly did they say to you? Are they warning you for using bittorrent, or for using too much bandwidth?

If you enable protocol encryption and proxify your tracker communications, through something like JAP, and run bittorrent listening on port 443, and don't use too much bandwidth, it would be fairly hard for the network admins to tell you're using bittorrent.
