Cool mist and Ultrasonic humidifier do i need both?

I read that some people hook up there growing chambers with a Cool mist and Ultrasonic humidifier. Its this necessary, can i just use a cool mist for two ten gallon tanks? And what are the pros of using both??

cool mist = O2 exchange
ultra sonic = high humidity
ultra sonic takes the place of misting
cool mist should be able to do those 2 tanks fine but you will still have to mist.

I?ve been borrowing my ultrasonic from my landlord, and now he needs it back. Now I will buy a new humidifier, but if I have to choose one type, should I go with the ultrasonic or the cool mist???\
I have a terrarium of 35 gallons or so.

have no experience with a cool mist but an ultrasonic works amaizing if you can supply fresh air

Cool mist is not to be ran by itself.

Cool mist is best used when used along with an ultrasonic. Cool mist is used for air exchange while keeping humidity up. Ultrasonic is for humidity.

You run the cool mist 24/7 and the ultrasonic on a timer.


Go with the ultrasonic and use the bottle tek.
