Will a cool mist humidifier work or do I need an ultrasonic? What is the main diff? Can anyone help me out with this one. PLEASE......

man, no need to bump, you heard from hippie3, he's the mushroom mesiah, take him at his word, and mine, cool mist, or consider perlite, a billion times easier.

romelur.. humidifiers are great because they require very little maintanance. I go away for weekends at a time and a humidifier keeps everything going smoothly. I recomend the cool mist because ultrasonics can pump in an over saturating mist. And the ultra sonic producer thing (sorry) is prone to failure.

if you want easy maintness, go with perlite. simple. takes like 5 min to set up, cheap!! and it's golden for at least a week or two, I've yet to get below 95%, doesn't requier any messing around with anything. as for humidifiers, yeah, go with cool mist, I got some at goodwill for like 3 bux!

Yes but I mean low maintanance as in you dont need to fan your terrarium at all. And if you're using casings then you wont really want 95+ humidity.
