This is my first time casing w/ a cool mist.I'm using a cool mist humidifier in rubbermaids my casings appear to have high humidity issues based on my search findings.What can i do if anything to bring the RH down and still keep the cool mist on 24/7.The RH is between 95-98% no condensation.most of the tiny caps that are coming up have white flaky kinda growth on them seems that as they grow it falls off but im not getting a good pin set. Help a energetic shroomer get back on track....

Why so stuck to the humidifier? It's not necessary for casing.

Nooow I get it, you would rather not bother with all the fanning and misting hence the cool mister for mister cool. But is'nt a casing giving the shroomsters what they need moisturewise? Besides maybe dunking in between flushes and regular spraying until you see pins?

The answer is to turn the humidifier up higher...set it to a higher level. this might seem counter intuitive, but actaully will increase air exchange, thus increasing evaporation rate, thus decreasing humidity. The cool mists are good for air exchange, as they can be run 24 7 and filtered before intake.

24 x 7? Are you sure. I know ultrasonic misters should only be run a few minutes a day but you say a cool mist is ok 24 x 7 with exhaust holes in container?

No trouble.... i read alot more posts than i do of my own here and ive noticed people here have a tendancy to get real shitty with people. Just for not understanding something or not KNOWING to SEARCH first.The reason i was trying to use the cool mist is the same as the other guy i dont have alot of time to fan.Ive also read mixed posts on trying to use an air pump for exchange or a cool mist. Most posts go for the cool mist.Possibly i could put some small holes in the hose or add several more exit holes.I think i'll start with the extra holes and see where it takes me.
I got the plans for the cool mist from Mycotopia....
