Crazy Aggressive Rizomorphs after 9 Days *PICS*

Well just thought i'd share this CRAZY GT growth, innoced about 8-9 days ago incubated at a constant 30 degrees, man i've never seen growth this so aggressive... tell me what you guys think! Looks like it should be a strong fruiter..

looking good, was it with msi or with liquid culture or what, if it was just common syringe injection than damn its moving along quite quickly. if it was liquid then thats about what im averaging. either or great job, and good luck with the rest of the grow, keep us updated.

Nope just common syringe, thats why im posting it because I was VERY surprised.. and it was with an already used print over 3 years old!... i'd like to get into spawning and the so called liquid culture but since this is only my 3rd grow over the last 5 years or so i'm working up to it, plus I have no idea what a liquid culture is so I need to do my researching haha

I had a dream one time where quart jars of popcorn were inoculated with KS Super Strain and they colonized 100% in around 160 hours/<7 days.

liquid culture has to be the easiest way to get alot of mycelium quick, well not alot but put it this way, off of one syringe i have made 50+ jars in the past few weeks. search for honey tek or Karo tek. here's the basics
half pint jar filled with 100ml of water mix in one table spoon of Karo or tea spoon either or both work good, then place the lid on as you would a normal pf jar i use tyvek and one hole in the middle of the lid, and then steam or PC it for 20 minutes and let it cool, then inject 2cc of any spore and in 8-9 days it'll be ready to use, the spores germinate and then the mycelium thrives off of the Karo/sugar pretty much or honey. and you'll get a white blob in there about the size of a quarter and just use the syringe needle to break it up and suck some up and inject away, it cuts out the time waiting for the spores to find each other and germinate in the jar, it cuts off a considerable amount of time.

Wow sounds pretty awsome, isnt that a really good way to introduce contams? I mean constantly poking it in and out, even given you flame sterilize and alcohol.. etc...

It is an added contam factor, but the decrease in colonization and added product make up for it IMO.

Here's an update, MAN ive never seen Mycellum so aggressive.. normally I get some little white fuzz, but nothing of this magnitude! It looks like its trying to colonize the glass haha!!

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

but hey I wish my jars looked that rhizo, sometimes my PF will, but my rye always seems kinda cottony, one of these days get a nice petri going a pick out that picture perfect rhizo strain.
