question about a half full syringe

i was wondering i have a half used syringe is there anyway possible i could add more water to it so i can inoculate a few more jars? any help would be appreciated thank you pash420

All you have to do is sterilize some water, let it cool, flame the needle and suck up the water....

Pash,

Personally, I would not attempt to add more water. When the water is cooling, there is a chance that contams will arrive and mess everything up for you.

I've got nicotine stains on my fingers.

In a perfect world, adding more water would not be a problem as long as your methods are clean.

But of course the world ain't perfect so I think you should just use what you have or you may lose it all!

Don't believe the hype. You can definitely add more water and have great results. I just did this recently.

Your safest bet is to get a jug of DISTILLED water, available at any grocery store. Clean off the syringe needle with alcohol, and then suck some distilled water right back in, directly from the the jug. It works great. You can do this several times. As long as spores are visible in the syringe, you can suck more water in. I made 10cc of sporce solution into about 40cc. Sure, your jars may colonize a bit slower because they're not getting as many spores, but who cares. They will colonize and they will fruit.

i bet the spore vendors are pissed ..
