so once primordia have appeared i remove the cake right or is it just once the cake has become completly colonized?

The cake must be completely colonized before you remove it. Otherwise contams will take it over. It usually takes about 3 weeks . For more questions re-read your Tek and also see the Simple Cubensis Growing Technique for excellent illustrations.

depends on which strain you use. Romero will grow invitro, if you are using other strains they
usualy will not grow or pin in the jar! where did you get your spores.? I like PF

the spores being used are equador from the fsr and they are growing faster than expected : ). so if there are no pins forming how long should i wait to remove it after full colonization. thanks

If you have PF classic, a.k.a. amazonian, and matias romero, or if you have cambodian strains then you can leave it in the jar until you see pins, otherwise just birth at 100%.  There are other strains that can do ok with pinning too, I just don't know them all.

4 out of 5 inmates agree.  The FSR is better than being raped by your overweight roomate!;)
