Firefox>Opera?
    #3301416 - 10/31/04 05:18 PM (12 years, 3 months ago)

Haven't tried Opera, but I've heard good things about its custom settings. I'm pretty satisfied w/Firefox, but I'm open to new things.

stick iwth opera.
I LOVE Firefox and ive used Opera and its alright. its fast, but it doesnt work with some sites and stuff, but Firefox is super fast and works with everything and is alittle cleaner looking than opera.

Firefox usually does the job. I've encountered some unexplainable problems though, and whenever the problem turns out to be unsolvable, I switch to Opera for that particular site.
Used Opera for a good while after IE, then switched to FF, which I've since fallen in love with. Only thing missing at the moment is a working session saver extension.

FF 1.0 is due November 9th. Looking forward to it.

i use both and just found Opera to be alot better for web surfing. you can customize it big time. and for those people who say opera can veiw stuff the firefox can are wrong... you can set your browser to "identify itself" as firefox, or IE so you can view ANYTHING those 2 browsers view... i just asked a question about the feture in this forum. i like Opera way more the firefox... i guess its all personal preferance

Opera all the WAY! I like the onetouch button to turn off graphics. Great for work..looks like your reading some text or something.

Used to I'd use Opera until i hit a bump and was forced to use IE. Nowadays, i've replaced "forced to sue IE" "with forced to use FF". Overall, Opera seems far more intuitive, prettier, and smoother. Also, Opera is like FF's grandfather, FF really imitates more than innovates. That keeps my heart with Opera.

I really like Opera's cookie management better than FF's so I use FF for my financial and other unblocked activities while Opera handles the "I need to use cookies but only want specific ones" or "fuck your cookies" operations. IOW, I don';t see the point in "training" 2 browsers to serve the same purposes. They each ahve their niche.
