Here's whats on the agenda. Should be fucking amazing.
Last of the Mohicans Soundtrack - British Arrival Tchaikovsky - Arabian Dance (Nutcracker) Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata Last of the Mohicans Soundtrack - Elk Hunt Beethoven - Fur Elise Beethoven - 9th Symphony Beethoven - Ave Maria Beethoven - Ode to Joy Mozart - Pachabel Cannon in D Minor Mozart - Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy Mozart - 25th Symphony in G Minor Bach - Cello Suite (yoyo ma?) Tchaikovsky - Swan Lake... (Nutcracker) Braveheart Theme
this is gonna be first. The only other classical piece I've ever listened to while tripping was the Last of the Mohican theme... and it is my #1 favorite tripping song. So that says something about me and classical music, heh. It's a new genre for me

May I suggest the entire "Symphonie Fantastique" album by Hector Berlioz? He either wrote some of it, or all of it under the influence of opium back in the 1800s. It was called the first "psychedelic" symphony. Good stuff, goooooood stuff.

I've listened to classical twice while tripping. It's quite the experience. I felt like someone was playing violin on my brain.

I find it hard to commit to listening to a certain type of music when tripping. I may plan on tripping to trance, ambient, alternative, etc., but I always end up listening to Tool.

Bach is the man, you must hear (tripping or not) at some time Bachs organ fugue in G minor, I would also suggest the Chaconne by Bach, and the blue danube waltz by johann straus. I have never personally listened to classical music while on shrooms, but I did listen to the chaconne on salvia, that was intense, but what isn't on salvia, anyway, best of luck, classical music is the shit.

Yeah I think the second movement is supposed to represent an opium induced delirium.
Mozarts Requiem is also great music for tripping.

when im going classical i tend to listen to this CD i have Vladimir Horowitz playing Chopin, basically any recording of horowitz will have something by chopin on it because that is what horowitz did and did well, i love the quality of his playing. while most people enjoy the scheer magnitude of the greater symphonic works, i prefer the horribly complex yet masterfully personal style of the solo piano concerto. anyone agree. disagree?
