Funny story about these. They were underneath some blackberry and other types of bushes right off of a small path. I was dilligently picking and looked up to see an old man, face to face, like 6 feet away. His backyard was on the other side of the bushes. So I said hi, he said hi, and I continued picking. 5 minutes later hes back over towards the the bushes and asks me "so what are searching for". I stick my poke my head up through the bushes with and handful of cyans, "oh, just doing a little mushroom picking". He sure got a kick out of that, laughing and smiling. Bham residents can be downright awesome and friendly. I was honest, and he was reasonable. Thats the way it ought to be in a civilized society Anyway, I went home had some tea. And before I knew it a Makisupa Policeman was issueing me a Cy-tation. http://www.overgrow.com/edge/gallery/706285/cyans_in_blackberry.jpg http://www.overgrow.com/edge/gallery/706285/couple_cyans.jpg http://www.overgrow.com/edge/gallery/706285/2cyansinbush.jpg http://www.overgrow.com/edge/gallery/706285/gillshotcyanyea.jpg http://www.overgrow.com/edge/gallery/706285/cyanpin.jpg http://www.overgrow.com/edge/gallery/706285/cyan_pin.jpg http://www.overgrow.com/edge/gallery/706285/cyan_in_hand.jpg http://www.overgrow.com/edge/gallery/706285/finger_cyan.jpg http://www.overgrow.com/edge/gallery/706285/cyans_and_indians.jpg R.I.P. They were growing on some scummy looking hardwood mulch of some sort. It definitely wasn't too dank or nutritious.
COPY AND PASTE LINKS in order for them to work sorry it is being such a pain in the ass

Its gotta feel good stumbling into a patch that size that hasn't been touched by anyone else this season. Very nice.
Good looking Amanita too, you took some awesome pictures of it
