I'm starting a new grow

Pressure cooker is on with 3 jars of rye in it. I haven't grow any shrooms for a long time, more than a year but Now I felt like growing again. :laugh:
Not that I need the shrooms but I just felt like watching them grow again. I'm injecting the jars when they cooled down with mazatapec spores.  :mushroom2:

damn pressure cookers make a lot of noise  :tongue:

You have a rocker on your cooker?
I have an all american borrowed from a shroomerite, It fits 7 x 1L jars and is silent after the swingarm stopper is set.

I too am starting a grow, hoping to find some rye before then but if not, I will probably use millet or popcorn and try to pump up yields with a bulk substrate....

It's a 6 liter pc
3 720ml jars at a time (enough for 2 good sized casings). and I think it has a 'rocker'

also good luck with your grow. I find rye evry easy to work with. Corn gives good results too but I've never tried it myself.
if going for bulk you're going to use straw or dung?

Corn substrates seem to benefit from being mixed with verm prior to casing, in my experience.

Just a thought.

Slow colonisation with WBS is usually due to the WBS being to wet

Still no signs of mycelium. It was an old syringe so maybe those spores need some xtra time...

I add a couple table spoons of verm and mix it in before i noc em up cause wbs alone is hard to get moisture content right some seem wet some seem dry.
