Average Dose

I was just wondering what everyone's average dose of mushrooms is? Mine is usually around 3 g dried but lately I've cut back on the last couple of trips due to an overly intense experience. But i'm working my way back up and would like to go for a 4-5g dose in the not too distant future. What sayest thou? PEACE

well i havent done a good dose of shrooms but an AVERAGE dose of acid for me is 3 hits, but next time im goin up to 5. should be fuckin insane :) i cant wait

You seem to take things too fast. I would slow down if I were you, unless you want another night like you had on DXM. 5 decent hits will be quite insane and, more then likely, extremely visual. Look at it like this.. You have 70-100 years of life in this world. You got 54-84 years to trip yet. No need to rush things and scare yourself away, or screw yourself over on it..

oh i know, last time i tripped acid i did 3 1/2 (one was double dipped or so my friend said) so this time it would only be one-half more

I was taking about 3 g's of dried cambodians for a short period and wasn't hardly getting a level 3 and I decided I was going to mega trip so I ate 6 grams, let me tell you this was not the thing to do, going from level 2 trips to a full blown level 5 was not cool. bad trips are not fun or healthy, I didn't enjoy the first 3 terrifing hours of it but the last hours where fun and just fine, I'm going to post a trip report here shortly and I already know I'm stupid so no one needs to tell me that.

Hi, I am curious as to how much you consume at the same time. Did you make a tea or eat them right down.

Tri[ps are generated by set and setting and how you properly ingest the dosage.

The Mazatec Indians take from fifteen minutes to a half an hour to consuume a normal dosage, probably similar to your experience since you had a reaction to the amount. This could be becasue of the way they were ingested, thus causing your bodies nervous system to react with an uncomfortable experience.

Did you drink them in a tea?

or did you eat them within a few minutes. This causes a comeon like a rocket taking off.

When consumed over a short period of time the come on is rather slow and gradual and this makes for a more com fortable experience.

I drank them ground up in orange juice in about 10-15 minutes, I guess I can't really be sure it was 6 g's and I can't really be sure it was a level 5, those where assumptions I made, but it was short and hard.

I ate about 10 fresh Psylocybe Cubensis (Gulf Coast Strain) and had a very very light trip. Wich parts are more potent? Are the caps the same with the steam? I mixed them and ate them within 1 minute without nothing else. They had the cap of a penny and thin as a pencil and like 3-5 inches tall. Thank you!

both caps and stems are pretty much equal in potency, judging form the cap/stem size (although it is nearly impossible to accurately determine the weight of shomething esp. shrooms through description) i guess you have about 1-1.5 gm(at the most) since they were fresh you should assume that they dry to about 1/10 the weight, you'll need at least 2g to get anything good

Um... the least I like to consume is 5g dry of standard cubes... 3-4g of dry libs. I prefer about 7g dry of cubes, 5g libs. 10g is the largest dose of cubes I've done, 8g dry libs is the hardest I've tripped though. Acid is a whole other story...
