At least you don't have to piss out kidney stones.

Laparoscopic surgery is very common now and a lot less invasive than the more traditional surgery techniques. Plus you'll have a considerably shortened recovery time. I'm not saying it's totally without risk, but it's pretty widely used nowadays, so your surgeon has probably done this many times.

Nothing to be worried about, man. Even if you are worried up until the 20 minutes before they do it, you'll get pumped full of valium so fast nothing will matter. You'll probably have a memory of getting from a bed onto an operating table. Then you'll wake up, with plenty of opiates.

I've never had this kinda surgery done, but I've watched many of them performed. Really nothing to worry about. The worst part of the whole thing should be coming off the anesthetic.

You'll be fine! Surgery like the one you're having is fairly simple and quite common. I'm sure that your doctor has it down and you will just be a standard proceedure. Just be lucky they aren't making you pass it! That isn't even a huge stone, you'll be just fine. Surgery is fun, like Gijith said, the worst part is coming off the anesthetics. Best of luck to you! Make sure they play good music in the operating room, that is key

:goodluck:

It's a very very very minor surgery.

Comparable to a skin graft.

If this is the same procedure I'm thinking about it's where they send those shock pulses through your kidney to break up the brittle material.

It's cool stuff.
