Our Power
    #3210436 - 10/03/04 04:21 PM (19 years, 5 months ago)

We are really powerful beings in my beleif, inherent in us infinite creative intelligence, free will, and the passionate ability to move things beyond our own ability to measure.

We have the power to construct illusions that seems real and the power to destory illusions that seem real.

What do a lot of us do with that power? We give it away for others to use against us and we don't even know it.

How does one do this? Via one of two ways.

When you fear something or put it beneath you or a part form you, you give it your power.

When you idol worship something or put it above you and look up to it and agin make it a part from you, you give it your power.

In the first case, go ahead and fear something or put it beneath you and watch how it can cotrol your actions. You'll see it because you will be avoiding, defending, or attacking it out of the fear.

It's pretty funny when you realise, its your own power your doing these things against.

Take the second case and worship something above you. Watch how it controls your beleifs and actions. You start doing things to please it and act in subserviant ways to it. It's funny too because its your own power you are doing it to.

Put it to the test for yourself and watch how you change. Look at what you have put above or below you in fear or have separated from yourself and question how it has had the ability to move you around.

If you want to be in full use of your power, just take it back by equalizing yourself with everything and by becoming one with it.

I like to call this calibrating equalisation.

Lets take your power hungry insertion here to play with.

If every one stopped giving their power away, then the power hungry would starve huh?

You have power weather you want it or not. Many people are terrified of their own power and so easily give it away. Is that how you want to live and doesn't that just perpetuate the dynamic of power mongers?

What I was trying to say is that, there really is no real answer to life, because.......yes you can do your experiment, but what if you become an expert at it, then its gonna be vise versa, people are gonna start worshiping you....do you want that? I deff dont, so your back in square one, but now reality is easy and you got nothing to look up to, whats the point now?

There is no point, if you or top or on the bottom, your still the same

We are everything we experience. When we start asserting our experiences as extrnal to our self, we lose part of our experience of full self, 'god of our existence'.

Thinking that this society's framework is some absolute external entity that you are forced into, for example, is this notion of losing 'power'.

This isn't about an answer to life. Maybe it answers a question about a small part of life for some.

I see what you are saying about in turn becoming worshipped, but if people get it, they will no better then to do that, unless its their choice, and they will live with it.

It's about emopwering yourself in a world full of so many feeling powerless and helpless. It's riddled even all over this message board, that feeling some people have.

As you said, maybe some people like that and this isn't for them.

Deff, that was another way to put it and focus on the core essense here, nothing is a part from us and only when you set it a part can you sense a loss of power. Our full power is the One and when you divide it or split it into parts, particularly inequal parts, you will or can experience a sense of loss.

"Our full power is the One and when you divide it or split it into parts, particularly inequal parts, you will or can experience a sense of loss."

What happened to "every moment is unique"?

sometimes when i trip, i want to see what it would feel like to be a murderer or rapist.......even thought most of you would say thats fucked up, and it makes you feel like NOTHING, i mean its an inderscibable feeling (even made me cry), its a bad feeling, yes, but it puts you in the most unpredictable perspective.

a person needs to learn how to enjoy life before they can enjoy it.

this made me think........if your God, and your infinite, and what to see life from all perspectives possible, what would be the most unpredictable perspective?

to seize to exist,

connect that to the big bang, and there you go, the most unpredictable perspective is us

Now I see where you are coming from.

Oh for sure, I see our ability to experience inequities as quite a valuble mechinism, even though its an illusion. I think we have learned so much about ourselves and the power inherant in all through this journey of separation.

I'm marveled at its concept and creation and what was and can yet be gained in self understanding from it.

By all means, anyone wishing to continue exploring in this realm should as they are free too. I think some are ready to get out too and on to something else so it helps to know how to pull out and that we can if we want too. You can pull out for a while and equalise and then jump back in again too.

It's about choice and knowing we have so many. The more choices we have the more we come back into our natural place of power and continue the move out of limitation, if we and when we choose too.

I don't look at it that way. Boundaries have a purpose.

If one can apply this to realise an existance that knows no enemies, that can bring peace. I like peace.

Of course, life is riddled with physical and material limitation and appearant inequities. I'll never in this life have the money Bill Gates has or be able to play ball like Micheal Jordan etc. I'm talking about our spiritual equity and the power of the spirit within all and all within one.

I also like knowing I have lots of choices.

I don't even believe spirit has limitations nor do I beleive in spiritual inequities.

I also beleive that in that, spirit has limtitless choices.

So to me, resonating with that brings one closer to their truth in spirit and it feels good, thats why.

I don't know about you, but I like feeling good naturaly and tuning in with our spirit nature is a good feeling. I like mostly because, it is what just is and it's not a feel good that comes from a manipulation of sorts.

It's a freedom feeling good.

Well I do not know if she will see this,
but then my curiosity is stoked a bit
How do we pull out? How does one pull out, equalize and come back in?
