Anyone have any luck with oxygen tanks with their setup? I asked in the cult. forum but no one answered. Could a slow how should I say it uhh... dribble of air coming out replace the need for fanning?

search, there have been many such suggestions in the past:
there is more at stake than just 02
also think of CO2..
where would it go?
and what about $$
and remember, O2 isnt safe.
oxidation is simmilar to a burn.. not nice..

Get a water-jacketed incubator from eBay and you'll be in business man. Otherwise, it might be a little tricky getting/measuring the oxygen levels correctly. Stamets' books don't seem to make mention of pure oxygen helping or hurting.
Maybe you could setup two aquariums, one w/ oxygen and the other plain air. Run them side-by-side and see if there are any differences.
Also, I'm not sure about sterility. Luckily it's under pressure and it would be cheap/easy to run it through an in-line filter. That's what they do in the Forma incubators.
