GPS Preferences...for mushrooming...

I'd like to buy a GPS and have been starting to research.

What GPS...if any do you use and why???

I've read a little about Garmin and Magellen so far...but it all sort of blends together.

Thanks for any personal experience you can help with!

That's one brand I'm checking out. I'm looking at $150.00-$300.00 IF it's worth the money.

I Salmon fish also so I want to have some good memory potential.

I river and salt water fish so that'll take up soe memory. Then the forest and sidewalk spots that need to get saved.

I'm looking into the Garmin eTrex Vista and the Legand. But Magellan has some nice ones too.

I'm not really into a lot of extra stuff...but I WOULD like a decent amount of storage available. And good reception to those snoopy satellites.

The Garmin GPS V has a map on-screen that shows where you are, everything about your position, etc. I use it for non-jet aviation uses. You can load Topo maps into it, and it interfaces great with your PC. It's about 500$, but worth it. PM me if ya have questions
