hears the deal... some may say mushrooms are a gift of god, but i was stoned the other day and thinking...
Beer. comes from rotted wheat.... Ergot, rotted wheat.. So many drugs come from rotted and dead things... mushrooms.. come from shit... Maybe god made these as the opposites as food, i kno it sounds wierd.. but maybe they are all evill.... on the other hand you are able to connect w/ god on some levels.. and pot.. i mean thats just a regular plant how can u categorize that??? anyone got any ideas on the topic?

Do you really think anyone here will say Mushrooms are evil? They are in my opinion a spiritual drug and therefore GOOD. Marijuanna looks somewhat evil to me, just look at those pointed leaves. They're like the devils hands or something.

Only1AK, you have a really good point. I typically love to debate and throw out a counter point. I'm a professional biologist and I could spit out numerous evolutionary reasons why wheat ferments and why certian fungi produce akaloids that are psychoactive to us. But right now I am at a loss for words to rebut your connection of our vices and rotten/dead matter. And if you think about it, we usually kill a marijuana plant to consume the THC.
Now that I think of it... I do have a counter point to throw in. Although ergot and mushrooms are plucked off of rotting matter, ergot and mushrooms are in fact living, thriving life forms. Fungi is actually an essential life form in food chain. Condiered to be decomposers, fungi typically breaks down dead rotting matter to make way for new life.

Many active speices grow from dead wood are they evil?
1 active species actually helps its tree host to eat food unavalible to it
so its helping its tree ,is that evil?
The speices that break down poo into food sources for plants are a good
thing not an evil or bad thing,but a part of the bigger picture.If these mushrooms and insects did not break down the poo then after a short time
the surface of the globe would be pure poo :-) this would not be a good thing.
And dont forget that most veg you eat was grown on poo also ;-) most plants
thrive on good old horse shit.
Another thing i would say is whats so bad or evil about poo?the bible doesnt cuss it at all as far as im aware :-)
Another thing is there is no god :-P

More impressive still was the fact that there were beautiful stars in this direction

there is no god. we are basically other organisms. like trees or animals.
were just smarter than the rest, we used the term of god to give us false hope. without the false hope think of the anarchy and shit that would happen without it. im not going to get into too deeply. but the jesus shit is quit startling. so that contradicts the god being real thing. so it can be brought up and not dismissed,
