If you can't find peat moss or verm I'd give up. Did you check gardening places at all? I can't imagine not finding at least peat moss. Just throw some dirt on there...

Peat moss is one of the most common things there is..those others were harder for me to find however EVERYWHERE I went asking for coco coir (which is another thing you can use, I forgot to mention, check reptile stores as its a bedding for reptiles. Comes in a brownish red compacted brick and something like Bed A Beast would be the name. You break it off in chunks with a knife then add water and it expands. You may also find Geolite or lavarocks here as they are used at the bottom of fish tanks (why you didnt find it at gardening places). Perilite I found at Home Depot...ask them for it, it's in the gardening section but they have a section with "special things" like cactus soil and some other things. They don't carry verm though. I had to check a few gardening places before I found it..look for the smaller self-owned-looking ones..thats where I found it.

But Peat moss was at every one of them. And home depot. Even ace hardware has peat moss. But then you will also need crushed lime which can be found at gardening places (needed with peat moss because the pH is bad, to acidic I think and the lime makes it more base). Make sure before using whatever like you get because some lime is stronger then others. Theres calcium carbonate, crushed lime and another one or two forms but some are more concentrated...can't remember which one because I use coco coir and verm mixed (50/50, great easy casing) not peat moss cause you have to deal with the pH. Well yeah if you still can't find it after all that stuff try and find the most NON nutrious soil you can and spread that out and keep it nice and moist. It would work ok...

Ah ok your from India..I was thinking you were from the US and if you couldnt find at least peat moss here you needed more help then the forum could give you. India's another story though..hopefully you have Home Depots? Or can find some of that stuff at least, even just the coir at pet stores maybe..good luck!
