Casing Manure+Vermiculite

I was wondering about using 50% Vermiculite and 50% Sterilized Manure that you can buy in stores for casing. Has this been tried by anyone with success? Also what is a good way to sterilize the 50/50+ casing tek? could the casing be sterilized the same was as substrate in jars in a pressure cooker? Thanks for any replies to my questions

I was wondering about using 50% Vermiculite and 50% Sterilized Manure that you can buy in stores for casing.
Normaly a case is a non-nutricous layer over your mycelium that is intended to help keep moisture in.
By adding manure to your casing you will have mushrooms that fruit and fall over-so not very stable.

Has this been tried by anyone with success? I am sure a few have had success but otherwise no.

Also what is a good way to sterilize the 50/50+ casing tek?
Sterilizing is not reccomended pasturizing is you can go to thehawkseye then tips and teks and you can learn to pasturize.

And final thought you are going to fast be patient read more so that your first time is a succes rather than a failure--this could make you not want to give it a second try.
