For a harvest of just any amount of casings all at once? Mine are timed so not all of mine are ready at once but I pick between an ounce or two everyday, my biggest at once was from 4 casings ready at once which I got 72 grams, 33 grams, 27 grams, and 23 grams from so 155 grams dried.
And let me tell you trying to dry that all was a bitch. I mean its only 5.5 ounces but thats 55 ounces (almost 3 1/2 pounds) fresh. That's why my casings are all stagard as much as possible to try and not have that happen. I do not envy you with 3/4 of a pound, especially if your talking dry weight (be more like 7.5lbs wet). Well I mean its a good problem to have but umm...well ya know..

A friend harvests anywhere between 5-10lbs month off of one grow in the summer. Using commercial dehydrator is a snap.

Damn man. No wonder you guys use casings. I'm going to have to do some after my cakes are done since I'll have plenty of spores. If I had a close to a pound I could give shrooms to all my friends and not even feel bad about my stash for the next year or two.

Well in my whole fucking career I only have had one harvest which was 700g fresh at one time. And drying was fucking annoying, I don't think a food dehydrator does a good job. I should have tried taking out the heating entirely, it was probably too hot even though it was turned down.

Food dehydrators work fine IMO. Thats all I use now (stored in a container with desiccant until sold however). I am interested in this comercial dehydrator that was mentioned though...

The commercial dehydtraor I referred to was purchased at a liquidation sale at a nearby company for 1200. That may seem like a lot but it can hold upwards of 40lbs of material before dehydration. It takes around 2-4 hours per cycle. Well worth the investment for larger scale dehydration.
