Austin city limits music fest

kicked ass this weekend.Did anybody else go?Among the many bands i got to see:
Trey Anastasio
The Wailers
Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra
Modest Mouse
Ben Harper
Franz Ferdinand
Solomon Burke
Cake
Elvis Costello & the Imposters
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band
Drive-By Truckers
North Mississippi Allstars
Spoon
Wilco.

It was quite a feet to see all of these, as many of them were playing at the same time, and there was something like 75,000 people also wanting to see them.
Tuts, and the Maytalls was by far the best show, with Ben Harper coming in at second. The only thing that i missed that i really regret is the roots.
Incredibly beat tho. My feet are covered in blisters, and my bald ass head is peeling from the sun.
It was overall just a really good experience. Seeing all those people jammed into That place just for the music. Much :heart:

oh damn right!!! i just emailed my friend and got a message saying he was going to be away until the 25th - and he was going to the Austin City Limits fest... he must still be out there. Sweet deal - he seemed super excited about it.

Nice line up.

Ive seen the wailers 2 times. They are great. They did a freee show in columbus.
