Hi, all,
The "Easy Casing Method" on this site ends with:
7 Cover fruiting container with foil or plastic wrap, poke holes in covering.
8 Let stand.
Is there a time when the plastic wrap should be taken off? The shrooms will push it up, no?

give it about 3-5 days when you see little pinheads, take off the wrap/foil and place in terranium and give them 4 hours light a day. good luck!

cover em with foil. Poke a few holes in there, put em in yer terrarium with NO LIGHT. mist once a day really good and fan once a day (before you mist) dont open it up more than once per day because that causes air exchange which initiates pinning(lower c02 levels) (along with light) Keeping them in the dark and the humidity up will promote mycellium growth in the casing layers...about 5-7 days of this you should see mycellium on the top of the casing...remove foil allow some light and mist lightly/fan 3 times a day. As soon as you see pins start to form (2-3 days after you started fanning them, sometimes sooner) stop misting, humidity should be around 90% (this is what i do and it works)

alternatively you can stick casings w/o covering into a humidified terrarium and cover the terrarium with a towel, blanket etc for 3-4 days. you will still have to fan daily.

I dont really think that it has to be specifically any time at all (for light) Just make sure its gettin some to know where to grow at. I have a window cut in the top of my styrofoam cooler and just normal daylight and room light usage was plenty
