Yeah, how about a 50/50 plus Tek that works. I used their reccomended 8% by volume of hydrated lime and poisoned my casings. How do you mix yours?

I got a Q. I have a verm only casing of Brf/Verm Treasure coast cakes. Well, I only got like 5 mushrooms from a 4 cake casing on the first flush??? Second flush is starting now and am wondering if there is a way to increase yeilds? I never really did anything to the casing though, jus fanned often and let it do its thing.

Something else, I got impatient and picked the three largest ones and ate em(yummy!!) when they were about 4 inches tall. That seemed to stall the other ones on the other side of the casing. Was I just imagining it or will picking cause a change in mushroom production?

yo about the lime, make sure it's the right kind, ie NOT with lots of magnesium in it. that mistake must have burned a lot of newbie casings in it's day...
