Yea, I'm somewhatexperienced with Chaos magic, wicca, meditation and the like, but I am currently going through a rather significant spiritual crisis and I am in dire need of contacting my guide. I've tried automatic writing and that just doesn't seem to cut it, I've been having trouble getting astral projection for the past two years so that really wont work, and I cant resort to entheogens because there are the direct part of my spiritual crisis which I need consulting on. Any suggestions appreciated.

Take it easy and relax. Try some calming breathing techniques, ground yourself, and call on your higher self. Then call for your spirit guide.

Spirit guides can talk very subtly, don't nescesarilly expect to be able to ask a question and 'hear' the answer. Advice often comes in the form of intuitions, but it can sometimes be difficult to distinguish between these and other random thoughts.

It sounds like you are somewhat out of balance at the moment, and I would recommend working on this for the time being, as once your regain balance and get more grounded, things will become a lot clearer. If you want any advice on techniques then drop me an email.

Have you every tried using divination? I find a pendulum is a good way to to get fairly fast answers to simple questions. For more detailed questions, try using any divination technique you are comfortable with or have access to. Personally I use the I-Ching and Runes, but really it's down to personal preference.

a "spiritual guide", in my opinion, is another name we give the voices, the vices, the sounds, the enlightenment that comes from within us... it is only attainable when it is not conciously searched for...

It's rather ironic actually...this whole problem manifested after i had a very vivid and rather disturbing dream of my death. One of my friends gave me a really deep analysis of it, and now i'm not quite sure what to do or think (i dont think it is a precognition of a literal death; it seems to be on a much more metaphorical level)

And yea, most of my divination has been through automatic writing, but I do have a tarot deck which I have used maybe once in the past two years since i got it
