do some work packets take alot longer to process?

My computer(AMD Athalon 2100) was doing a step every 2 min but now its taking 12-min per step.

Me other Computer(xeon processor) is taking 10 min per step

any help avail?

Yes, you answered your own question. Some work units take longer than others but you get more points for processing them so it balances out.

Don't forget with the Ultra5 you should set it to only request work units with no expiration.

The shitty thing is I have to use that setting on my main computer now :undecided:
