Rolling in verm? Question...

When you roll a cake in verm, you just moisten verm, and roll the cake in it? Then the verm sticks to it, right?

That's it?

Actually IMHO it works better to roll the cake in dry sterile verm just after they have been dunked. Just blott off the excess water from the freshly dunked cakes with a clean paper towel(very gently) and then roll the cake in the dry verm. It just seems to stick more evenly this way. Then you can mist the cake with clean water/h2o2 to bring the verm up in moisture content. It is also a good idea to cap the cake with a little layer of moist verm and sit the cake on a little layer as well.

I always just wet some verm, nuke it for a few minutes then put it in the freezer to cool off. When its cool i just spoon feed the verm all over. I dont actually "roll" the cake.

i just dunk for 24hrs in the frig in water..take out pour verm into a bowl (right out of the bag) take wet cake and roll it in the verm..done
