Verm question

Quick question: When casing should I sterilize the vermiculite.. im going to use a pure verm casing. Also how should I go about doing this?

You can pasteurize. Put a bunch into a pillow case (or something similar) and boil for an hour.

pasturization is for poop hehe...you can nuke it but be careful cause that stuff melted a hole in my mixing bowl..i dont even bother sterilizing my vermiculite.

some say the end is near some say we'll see armagedon soon..certainly hope we will..i sure could use a vacation from this stupid shit.

You don't really nead to as there is not much in the way of nutrients in verm but i'd say nuke it for like 5 min on high if ur really that anal about it. Watch out though, verm does get pretty damn hot really quick as previously been stated (hole in bowl) yeah later

Thanx alot for the help everyone.. but i just rememberd the reason why you use a verm layer in your substrate jars.. duh.. lol.. anywayz thanx for the help!! :)
