Just found these....do you think we should try them out? How have the trips been for you? Do you have a recommended first time dose?

It may indeed be amanita muscaria but it would be amanita muscara var formosa and therefore have no recreational value. Not worth consuming.

Like the red variety, Amanita muscaria var. formosa is poisonous, containing ibotenic acid, which the body processes as muscimol. The effects vary from person to person, and from mushroom to mushroom, ranging from hallucinations to narcotic sleep to serious discomfort.

Honestly Amanitas are not worth eating as the effects are not very recreational. I would stick to Psilocybin.

Can i get a positive ID on what they are? I am not planning on eating them, a friend was, but I just want to know for reference.

Yeah- that's what they are- I won't reccomend eating them... but... Mr. T will- (post continued henceforth by Mr. T, who has kicked me off my comp.)- :mrt:  - Mr. T says- drink milk- eat your vegetables- three grams tops first time- all caps- no stems- stems like drugs- theys bad news punk- stay in school- dry em first sucka...

so the yellow don't make you trip, or is it just the trip is not worth the after effects? i wanted to try the red ones (fly agaric), but i read that it is way intense. almost too real. that is what i am looking for..down the road.

Yes the yellows work- if prepared propperly they work fine in face- they all work fine and if properly identified and prepared and consumed within a reasonable doseage, they will yeild starteling results. Enjoy.
