i don't think i could bring myself to eat these ugly little abort pins (they're tiny anyways). how important is it to pick these things off, if at all?

pick em off, if the caps of the ahbort didnt turn black, eat em, they are high in alkaloids, if they are black, they are rotton, dont eat em.

you must pick them or they will rot and spread aids all over your cake. and I would eat them if the heads arent black these are the kind of ugly stepchildren you want to have around :wink:

When the big ones are ready, so are the little ones. The little ones don't seem to grow much more once the big ones have finished. So pick everything and try to get another flush.
