Re: Give some examples of the weirdest music out there! [Re: YouEnjoyMyself]

Autechre - Confield , song - "pen expers"
Autechre - Gantz Graf, song - "cap i.v." ? or something like that

anything by merzbow

NEU! is really strange

hmm...

Can - Tago Mago (experimental rock try the song, Halleluwah)

Suicide: is really weird... its 70's punk rock but instead of a band, theres a guy on an old analog synthesizer, and the vocalist sings like a lounge singer

if you dig mouse on mars, try the album glam, prolly their most experimental shit out there

Primus is really strange music, but it's also really good.

I also LOVE Mahavishnu Orchestra. Hard rock & jazz combined. Does not get much better than that.

The very nature of experience is ineffable; it transcends cognitive thought and intellectualized analysis. To be without experience is to be without an emotional knowledge of what the experience translates into. The desire for the understanding of what life is made of is the motivation that drives us all. Without it, in fear of the experiences what life can hold is among the greatest contradictions; to live in fear of death while not being alive.

mr bungle isn't really that weird, unless you listen to the disco volante album.
speaking of patton, adult themes for voice and prazno altransit (spelling) are both fucking crazy.
bonefish sam and his power orchestra is some odd stuff, free too. just google for it.

I forgot to mention Mindless Self Indulgence. Their stuff can get pretty wacky. Not trip friendly, but definately weird.

Syd Barrett's solo work... I recommend:

Apples and Oranges
Love You
Clowns and Jugglers

It's like a whimsical, schizophrenic, fairy-tale land acid trip  :crazy2:

Kid606 - My Kitten
Kid606 - My Kitten (hravtski mix)
Kid606 - Two Fingers Anarchy Style
Aphex Twin - Milkman

Kid606 and Aphex is weird in the traditional sense. If you want weird in a weird way then try:
Wham! - Freedom
Better Off Dead - Arrested by You
DJ Assault - Ass n Titties

That song was supposed to be at the top of the brits charts the day I was born.
