just read a few qntm books, 'there is no antimemetics division' & 'valuable humans in transit' pretty cool stuff.

Finished up 'swamplands of the soul' a good one, Ian Banks 'wasp factory' which was meh and finally the last bit of 'jurassic park' I was too slow paced in Jurassic Park but it was ultimately enjoyable.
I could not BELIEVE that Hammond just lies down and gets eaten by compys  what the fuck. The last 50 or so pages of that book are dynamite
Next Crichton is Prey as reccomended by a few of you, but wont be for a while.

Starting 'Slaughter house 5' for the first time once I've bonged.

:bongload:

Happy reading!

Damn I should reread Prey after I finish rereading Neuromancer. It's probably been 2 decades since I originally read it.

what are your thoughts on Neuromancer, worth a read?

I have a William Gibson on the list, called 'pattern recognition' you ever check that out?

I would highly recommend it. Neuromancer is the only Gibson book I've read at this point but I loved it and I want to finish the Sprawl Trilogy at some point. I just read the blurb for Pattern Recognition and it looks intriguing.

Started the Astrology edition of the Library of Esoterica collection edited by Jessica Hundley. It's a beautiful 500+ page book full of images and essays related to the history and evolution of astrology, looks to be a good slow read to enjoy a little each day. :sun:
