I want to see laws restricting food sneakery * 1

NO ARTIFICAL SWEETENERS (steviol glycosides)

While.its a natural sweetner, and not just one sweetener, there's a couple different compounds this could be, sometimes made artificially and not extracted

But I feel like they are being sneaky with the language

They ruined my favorite soda with stevia. Fentimans old fashioned fermented sodas, now with stevia. Horrible.

A lot of people don't like the taste of stevia, and even different ways of using it can effect the taste, I use these glyceret drops that have the least amount of bitter flavour and off taste, but it still has it if you use too much

Stevia - when a probably bioactive diterpene that tastes like ass wins it from science and reason because its "natural".

The big "ZERO SUGAR" implies zero sugar in the peach puree, cherry juice, grape juice & pineapple juice? 

I enjoy a bit of stevia now and then. It provides a zero glycemic response.

I'd thought those labels always meant zero added sugar, which agreed is manipulative labeling.

But looking into it, looks like companies have been using some process to remove sugar from juice extracts since 2023.

You can see at the top cutoff it says only 1g of carb, and didn't even list sugar so it must be less then 1g, they somehow remove the sugar

My son likes to read food labels to look for obvious deception. There is a brand of pancake syrup that brags in huge font, NO HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP.

When you read the ingredients (in tiny print on the back label) it contains corn syrup.

Technically accurate but very misleading.
