You even tried to walk it back by saying raw uranium can be turned into weapons grade uranium.

Do you think anything is unique to trump?

You could say he does similar things to others, but on a larger scale.

And that larger scale is a unique difference.

Weird how you said holys characterisation of trump wasn't wrong, but that the tone was too much? Wtf is that about?

How is the scale of Trump enriching himself greater than Bush Jr/Cheney?
I think what is unique to Trump is he shitposts. That's it.

Bush Jr didnt make billions during his presidency?

Trump enriched himself during his presidency to a greater scale than any other president..

Quote:
President Lyndon B. Johnson’s wife owned a profitable radio station. George W. Bush was on the board of an oil company while his father was in the White House. And Hunter Biden was paid by a Ukrainian natural gas company while his father was vice president.

But never before in American history has there been anything like Donald J. Trump, a president who in his first year back in office has collected about $1.4 billion in new revenues from cryptocurrency businesses that directly benefited from his actions as president, a financial disclosure report made public on Tuesday shows.

Overall, Mr. Trump’s revenue in 2025 jumped to at least $2.2 billion, compared with a minimum of $622 million in 2024 before he returned to office.

“It is completely unprecedented,” said Megan Gorman, a tax attorney and the author of a recent book, “All the Presidents’ Money,” that studied the history of presidential wealth dating back 250 years.

Oil companies and military contractors owned by Bush and Cheney made hundreds of billions of dollars in Afghanistan and Iraq. sure the money is in the companies name, but they have that money available to them. And they did it by killing hundreds of thousands of people. The estimated civilian death toll in Iraq alone is in the high estimate of 1.5 million people

https://washingtonspectator.org/the-familys-profiteering-goes-unobserved/

Bush and Cheney had dozens of contractor companies get contracts for hundreds of billions of dollars. The years were in the 2000s, you know back when 10 million USD was a lot of money.

Not to mention the savings and loan situation surround Bush Sr, where in 1989 Silverado Savings and Loan, a company owned by the Bush family, got a 1.1 billion USD bailout from the US Taxpayer.

https://la.indymedia.org/news/2004/01/99614.php

Honestly, the Bushes have probably stolen  over a trillion USD from the US taxpayer. Trump is no where near that. Also the Bushes did it at a time when inflation wasn't bad. So corrected for inflation is probably closer to 10 trillion.

You have a point but to be honest, answering them is more for who might stumble on here and see it more then just trying to fix stupid.  Others might live in a really red area and think they are alone and they are not.

Bush pushed trillions into military corporations. I agree with that.

But Bush didnt enrich himself to the tune of billions.

If he had stocks in the corporations he was overseeing contracts for, it would help to compare it to trump to see the difference in scale.

But wouldn't you make billions for your family knowing you got a jail out card.

Presidential immunity being vage with "official acts".

Could always make the argument for insider trading being legal as president  because official acts have happen for legal reasons beforehand.  Example President Theodore Roosevelt stopped Anthracite Coal Strike of 1902.  He stopped economic problems thus trump has economic power to fix problems. And such problems is he isn't profiting enough.

Lawyers can stretch that out after he leaves office for few years. Meanwhile trump dies and nothing happens with his family wealth.

My point was Ai was using it to give trump cover.  The problem with that is that you cannot say bush was bad and that makes trump not so bad.  Trump is worse and our deficit kind of proves that out as well as gov. contracts to his children.  I put his wanting to put his name on everything as part of the corruption.

Kind of a weird thing to offer a communist country who Trump claims meddled in the 2020 election and cost him reelection:

I never said because Bush was bad that makes Trump not so bad. All it means is Trump isn't this unprecedented evil you, and others like you, are making him out to be.

And yes, Trump should have done more to deal with the deficit. But once again, the deficit has been bad since the 2008 bailout. In reality, the current deficit is largely Obama's fault. The debt:gdp ratio went over 100% in 2011, during Obama.

What am I talking about, Bush Jr was the one who signed in the bailouts lol. Obama only signed a couple of them in the first months he was in office. Bush JR had already passed them. Gee whiz.

Oh yes, let's not forget the corruption that occurred with the mining industry in the early 1900s. I mean Warren G Harding literally dropped bombs from airplanes on striking coal miners to break up that protest. And ICE is being called the personal Gestapo.

None of that gives any reason to vote for trump now.  You claim is if we say trump is the worst, that is why people vote for him.

yes, by acting like unhinged, deranged, divorced from reality megalomaniacs, people who otherwise wouldn't have voted for Trump will vote for Trump when they realize there is a gap between the criticisms thrown at Trump vs the reality of Trump. At least it's been so for the majority of his time in politics. The crypto thing and the Iran War kind of have changed people's minds. But literally acting like presidents have been fucking warrior philosophers until the ghost of Hitler rose with Donald J Trump is the dumbest thing a political party has ever done and should be studied for decades.

but just to clarify, my claim isn't that, oh other presidents were bad so its ok for Trump to be bad, and that is a reason to vote for him. It's like your purposefully not trying to understand what I'm saying and inject some pretext of meaning into my statements.

His insider trading isn’t helping fix any problems.  Even if an official act is necessary for economic stability it’s his own choice to profit.  And he’s doing so at the expense of the American people.  His swing trading of the market based on his own press comments (for example: the tariffs-on / tariffs-off orders, the dozens of comments about an Iran peace deal being imminent) manipulated markets in a way that made him money and cost taxpayers with higher prices and market volatility.

You cannot say both of what you are saying.  It is illogical.  You saying stuff is bad and with no input, people would recognize it and not vote for him.  Then you say it is not bad if somebody says anything as they are voting for the bad if somebody says he is bad and it doesn't fit the bad they think that was going to stop them from voting for him.  I say they were going to vote for him and are just looking for and excuse and would have found a different one but that is what they landed on for doing what they wanted to do.

That is not necessarily true.  You would have to win president first, because they want to put staff members or soldiers in jail for such stuff.

We dont have insider information.. so no, its not something you could do.

You can invest in stock, but not with insider information.

Youre just agreeing that Bush didnt do what trump did?

Bush didnt personally profit anywhere near the same scale as trump.

They both push money to military contracts, but Bush wasnt invested in the corporations he oversaw the contracts of.

Do you understand that distinction?

Self enrichment!
