using this trip as a golden opportunity to recontextualize weed in my mind. i really dont want it ever again. this is my big takeaway and what i will integrate tomorrow.

that doesn't mean you can't reevaluate that relationship at a later point. before you drink alcohol, or smoke tobacco, better to vape some weed i'd say. when you've been away long enough, you can enjoy and manage the effects relatively better, although some side effects will always remain (cotton mouth, munchies & social inhibition for me) but for me it's also worth it because if i don't do it, i'll want to do something else that's even worse. sober only is only nice if you have lots of great hobbies, which i don't.

3.5g is a great dose. You're high enough that you lose meta awareness so you can just experience it and not overanalyze. But you're also sober enough to easily reorient the ship if things get choppy.

thing is, this is a vicious cycle for me. take a break, one month, two, six go by, and i think "great i'm in control of my destiny again" and i smoke weed for one day, and that one day turns into a hundred or more and i gotta start all over again.

i have TOO MANY hobbies, and work and a family with kids. my presence on planet earth is desperately needed, apart from my occasional weekend shroom nights
