I'd pet their cute little faces! I might bleed a little after but it would be worth it.

This thread gets better and better

You should watch The Raccoon Whisperer on YouTube. It's mad there's like 50 'coons that sit on this guy's porch coz he feeds them

I am the turtle whisperer!

hahaha! Well, the box turtle population here is very high. I run into one every 20 to 30 minutes while out foraging. And after the rains, they are everywhere!

We have quite a few other turtle species that reside here, but they are all aquatic. This is our only native land turtle.

Turtles would be my favourite if I saw them so often as you do.

My fave animal are sulfur crested cockatoos. they are EVERYWHERE where I live. It's so great being around animals you love. (Especially given I'm not super fond of people lol)

Yeah, I'd photograph all the water turtles that I encounter as well, but as soon as you get close enough, they splash off into the deep water :smirk:

:smirk:

Cokatoos are lovely birds :yesnod:

:yesnod:

And, we are one in the same on that one my dear :yesnod:

:yesnod:

I avoid most all people at all costs! I'm right at home in the woods around all my animals, plants and fungi

It's always awesome coming across various critters large and small.

The head on shot of the weevil with his snout pointing towards you is pretty cool.
