Im pretty sure Langten purposefully puts his agar against the glass so he can watch it.

I might be mistaking thos for someone else though. As long as grain is touching the agar/mycelium you'll be fine. Mycelium will grow through the agar to get to the grains.

The myc might have a chance of reaching the grain if given enough time and if your blade was sterile it might make it

Look up the trench agar tek, mycelium has been known to cross distances from one side of an agar dish to another by forming a bridge to cross the trench

I might join up in some cake wars I’ve missed out on the predecessors, looks fun

I confess every time I get back in to cult it feels like starting from scratch, I have fucked memory and I just did my first transfers in a couple years, very well may have just been white mold we will see


On a side note though this homemade canna-oil is fire :laugh: allegedly 22ish mg per g of coconut oil but it feels like more so yay!

2g in some warm strawberry milk is the tits

I confess to have started a subaeruginosa little project.

It started with an agar plate, I sent half that plate into a cardboard lasagna about a month ago.

Today I hydrated some hardwood pellets (maple, cherry, hickory) added some verm and gypsum and mixed pieces of the colonized cardboard (including parts of the wedges used in the lasagna) in two 1 qt glass jars with  breathing holes in the lids taped with micropore tape.

Now I’ll keep the jars at around 22C or 72F and see what happens. Hope to see growth, first time doing something like this so… we’ll see how things go.

















The plan is to colonize this substrate then send it outside into an outdoor bed.

Any pointers or suggestions are appreciated.

Yeah it definitely sucks especially since I have custody of my daughter now and her moms in rehab. Anyway I though I would get gps monitoring but my public defender didn’t know shit about what was going on with that until I got a warrant in the mail. And I have an open case for felony vandalism too for graff. Such bullshit. Said I had a large amount of contraband the crime inviolved professionalism and planning all kinds of bullshit enhancements. Now they know my name but I can still throw up the crew (JDI POT) at least. Gonna go put myself on calendar tomorrow and I have 8 pups to take care of as well. God is good and he’ll take care of things so we’ll just see what happens.

Sit the jar on its side, or prop it at an angle, so that grains roll to cover the agar, but don't let them cover the lid filter. Once the myc grows onto the grain a decent bit, you can shake the jar and distribute it.

Brother it might be worth considering taking a break from graffiti if it’s catching you multiple felonies, especially if you have a daughter and animals, etc. to take care of

I ended up building a cinderblock wall in my back yard and painting it so I could tag it and paint over it. It wasnt the same adrenaline dump as tagging something I wasnt suppose to but it still let me practice my art.
