No, not Agaricus, gills are completely wrong for that genus.
Hard to tell for sure what it is though, it's a bit old and beaten.

I think Agrocybe (Cyclocybe) is the strongest canditate here.

However, hygrophanous striate cap is interesting so Galerina is very much possible.

Other possibilities are less likely imo.

Appears to be Psathyrella or if the print is brown Panaeolus foenisecii. Better photos would help

Dont know if the yellow jelly-shell-rock-whatever, is for ID or for reference

I believe the first 4 photos are Panaeolus Fimicola, and the last one is Paneaolina foenisecii.

Do a spore print of the one you picked and if it comes back jet black I'd be quite certain its Fimicola

Rest assured that there is no Panaeolus fimicola here, it is all one species, likely foenisecii

oh yes looking at that again on a bigger screen the gills look a lot browner, think the uniform brown cap caught me out there aswell

Yeah sorry I meant Agrocybe 😂 And Renegade, I could definitely see a possibility of Galerina with the gill color.

For you first ones if the print came back rusty dark brown I'd be confident in saying they are p. foenisecii, for the second a black spore print suggests panaeolus of some kind it certaintly looks like one but it being quite dry etc its hard to say for certain.

have you got any photos of the prints so we can see?

(edit) thinking about it now aswell like renegade said at the start psathyrella could be a possibility too, if the print has a slight purplish hint to it would make me think towards that.

:whathesaid:

OP, i am squinting really hard, and still not seeing any active pans in this thread, sorry

what you might interpret as black is likely dark, foenisecii prints very dark, but not like jet black

in general, both psathyrella and foenisecii tend to have more cone shape cap, like presented here, rather than the expansive flatish cap which active pans tend to have
