Why would you every expect me to wacth fox news to get my information
https://edition.cnn.com/2026/06/01/politics/kfile-ny-13-darializa-avila-chevalier-deleted-tweets-defund-abolish-police-prisons-deportations.
They delete there stances once they start there campaigns.
As Mamdani has been forced to learn the system needs outweigh political ideology.  He pledged to never building new jails or prisons and cutting hours. But in reality he has had to increase hours for prison staff and to build a new prison to boot.

Once a dsa political person becomes a governor somewhere with a democratic control state legislature you'll see the true plan and is merit.

I asked if you look up any of this before saying they were running on policies of abolishing prisons.

Avila isnt. Zohran isnt.

Avila said this in 2021.

Quote:
A world without borders—just like a world without prisons or police—is possible, necessary, and the only moral way forward,” read one deleted repost from September 2021.

But she isnt running on that, and she's made that clear.

Zohrans run NYC better than any previous mayor. Hes closing rykers and building a new one. We could probably search the details for why that came to be rather than no new prisons being built.

You still haven't named anyone running on a policy to abolish prisons.

And that megan lady popped up on fox as the only one saying it. And she isnt running for anything.

Theres never going to be no prisons. Thats foolish.
Just like most of DSA, look at the scandinavian incarceration program.
Minimal, necessary, humane, geared to re-integration,
And long sentences or life for murderers rapists and other violent criminals.
This isnt hard guys

Scandinavians do everything better. They are all the happiest societies in the world, for good reason.

The left is supposed to want certain people, unpopular with the left, to go to jail.

Without naming anyone in particular, what would happen to those people?

To open investigations into people like trump Jr?

Wanting the legal system to operate as intended without a two tiered system where the wealthy don't have to abide by it or can skip consequences through their wealth?

Why not name names..

What would happen is an investigation would proceed and those found guilty would actually be held to account.

And this would be for anyone in power abusing their roles, not just republicans.

Without naming names theres no context for the type of investigation or potential outcomes.

You don't name name's because this thread will then moved to conspiracy thread.

It is not conspiracy to name who you think should be investigated and why.  Do you really understand this moderator thing?

Jamie Raskin started an investigation into Trump Jr and his involvement in the capital management firm 1789, just 2 days ago.

Quote:
Washington, D.C. (August 27, 2026)—Rep. Jamie Raskin, Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, launched an investigation into 1789 Capital Management LLC, the venture capital firm that suddenly struck investment gold after naming President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., a partner just four days after the 2024 presidential election.

Before Trump Jr. joined 1789 Capital, the struggling firm managed roughly $150 million in investment capital and had a record of flopped investments. Today, it manages more than $3 billion, and its main investment fund generated a roughly 200% return as of June 30, 2026—ten times the average for peer venture capital firms founded in 2023. The staggering reversal has come as 1789 Capital repeatedly invested in companies that suddenly began receiving massive lucrative federal contracts and funding or benefit from favorable policy and regulatory decisions from the Trump Administration.

“With Don Jr.’s new leadership role, 1789 Capital has developed an uncanny ability to identify companies that are about to receive massive influxes of cash from the Trump Administration or to benefit from significant changes in federal policies and regulations. They say there is no such thing as a sure thing in investing, but this is about as close as you can get,” wrote Ranking Member Raskin.

The investigation targets a pattern of 1789 Capital investments followed by significant Trump Administration actions benefiting those companies:

If someone's going to say, "the left wants certain people to go to jail", then yes, name names, because otherwise it might just be a conspiracy theory.

I have chosen not to name names so that people do not feel harassed or libeled.

For instance, ICE agents, Derek Chauvin, Charlie Kirk, or whatever generic rivals of the DSA? There are podcasters, singled out at demonstrations, where I watched.

Several of the Democratic, old guard have specifically mentioned a sleepaway camp that involves jumping jacks:

So, if woke 2.0 is anti-prison, what do you plan to do with the deplorables who the old left wanted to imprison?

That video is about wanting more of a dialogue opportunity in the country.

Charlie kirk actually agreed that the US shouldn't attack Iran. He talked about that a lot.

Why did you bring up Derek Chauvin if not as racist bait?

Hes not some rival of DSA, hes the guy who  killed a black man by choking him to death in the street with his knee.

Naming names for who you think "the left" wants to send to prison isnt libel, and i doubt anyone you name will see it here and consider it harassment.
