ID Confirmed: Suspected A. muscaria var guessowii, confirmed by Alan :)

Habitat:
NE USA, growing near eastern white pine with other non-coniferous trees mixed in.
Found growing nearby a single tiny king bolete and a handful of Suillus weaverae.
These two mushrooms were found separately (~5 feet apart).

Gills:
White. Covered with future annulus material.

Stem:
~4" on larger specimen, ~1.5" on shorter
White with hint of yellow.
Bottom 50% decorated with large fluffy "rings"

Pruned the dirt off the bottom after picking, but no volval sack was observed at the time.

Cap:
Large specimen is deep orange at center fading to light-orange at margin.
Small specimen is very faint orange-yellow at center to pure pale yellow at margin.
Both covered in fluffy veil remnants.
Both slightly tacky.

Other information:
See pictures for more details. They look like A. muscaria var guessowii to me, just want confirmation from a TI.
