I think you're just not stirring enough with the heat too high. It's the lme, not the agar I would think, but it might be both.

I know this is where ive been going wrong because i must have been boiling all of the water out of it until it had almost none left and was left as a gel 🤦‍♂️

Hell... I let the PC bring it to 'activation' temp and mix it as well. I use 250ml media bottles and a sous vide to insure temps and volumes. AGAR needs to reach around 185 degrees F to liquify and starts gelling around 105 degrees F.

You can honestly combine all the ingredients in the vessel and PC it.

I mix it cold in a quart jar with a stir wand then decant to media bottles. Hasn't failed me yet.

Thank you for your help but this has to be the agar at this point, i tried to just effectively make jelly in a glass condiment dish instead of wasting my nutrients and petris (K cups), no lme, only agar, let it settle to cold for about half an hour, i did exactly that, letting it come up to boil from cold, mixing it meanwhile, i didnt get any caking, however this is what it looks like when i tip it for about 10 seconds

It has to be the agar. I've had ~50ml left over after a pour and dumped it with 100ml+ water and it still gelled pretty awesomely. Left it out and cultured some nice mold a  couple days later!

OP check in after you've tried with Telephone. This is a known good agar, if you're still having problems you're probably retarded but we can still get you on track.

I just got my telephone agar, and immediate success, did a small test: 100ml water with 2ml agar powder, microwave until boil, cooled for 20 mins, worked perfectly, thank you for the help

What do you mean, 2ml? Youre measuring by volume?

Thats gonna be variable.  You should measure by weight. 

2ml=2g
