Thought I'd update y'all: fiance was elated to learn about this and has suggested we fly her down for a week. So I'm looking forward to that, when schedules align.

Join your local kink scene, be funny, be a bit selfless, communicate honestly and directly, and have a massive penis.

In all seriousness, I find being direct and at least pretending to be confident has always gotten me into the best situations. Telling a woman something like "I think you're pretty and you fascinate me" without any expectation has never led to a bad reaction. Granted, I don't do cold openers, I get to know people a bit first before I make a move.
