Lions mane and reishi in mono tobs

Howdy,

So I have some myc growing in my monotubs. Here's what I used for both tubs -

I made a big mix of Tractor Supply hardwood pellets and about 1500g of whole oats that I blended in my coffee bean blender to make a "oat bran" type powder for added nutrients. Mix that with boiling water until at field capacity. Then I sterilized that in jars.

I then mixed my grain spawn (which I used whole oats for)

I then mixed the spawn and substrate and placed in tubs.

I read that tubs aren't usually that great for these types of mushrooms. I read that once fully colonized, I need to fan often. Is that true?

The reishi is fully colonized (it's fast, hasn't even been a week) the LM is maybe 1/3 of the way.

Any tips?

I've done reishi top fruiting from jars in a fruiting chamber with 95% humidity and constant air flow via air pump.

Even with that they only made antlers and not conks, reishi like a LOT of air exchange.

Lions mane also like a ton of air too.

Reishi is very fast, fingers crossed for you to see some antlers start in a couple of weeks.
