Just got invited to a sex party * 2

My wife reconnected with an old friend from back in the day and he and his wife invited us to a swingers party at their house next week.  I hadn’t met them before (it’s someone who she knows from sober community) so we all went out to dinner last night, went great. 

This is pretty new to us; we’ve had threesomes and stuff but this sounds like it’s gonna be a fuck fest.  This couple who invited us seems to wanna swing more regularly than just parties too? Definitely has our curiosity piquing.

Any of y’all have experience swinging or lifestyle stuff?  Any tips?  I am not a terribly jealous guy and I can imagine turning any jealous feelings effectively into horny energy but you never know til it’s happening :shrug: but my wife and I have been together a long time, have great communication, and this has been a dream of ours that has basically been plopped right in our lap. I'm sure it seems obvious, but communication and trust are going to form the bedrock of enjoyment in any sort of non-vanilla sexual activity. This goes for dungeons, swinging, open relationships, you name it. Discuss it thoroughly beforehand. Don't take for granted that everything will go according to plan. Have an exit strategy. Given what you've said, this advice might be overkill, but it doesn't hurt. Bring some condoms, changes of clothes, and plenty of water.

If your wife wants to be friends with her long lost friend and you in the same parties, hanging out....whatever, be CAREFUL

shit gets tense and its usually the women who are the ones to freak out.

I think its like a base human feeling of possessing someone/monogamous partners can be stronger when you throw another one or more new female friends that are like your wife as they are friends

On an honest note, thanks in particular Mistakes.  Honesty and transparency are one of the major foundations of our relationship and we both are acknowledging that stepping further into swinging territory this is purely for the thrill and if/once things feel not-right we need to address it.  We both are very much in the swinging-but-not-open-relationship category and do not really picture it any differently.  We both are just high sex drive people who love to get freaky in all sorts of ways.

We have a couple nonverbal cues we are coming up with for bailing out of situations and we agreed that the others feelings always come first so if that means one of us can’t fuck someone that’s how it is

we are pretty far from vanilla, thankfully, so I expect our self-awareness, open mindedness, and good judgement to make this party a great experience.

I work in an adult sex club, what you describe is fairly common thing.  Swinger parties at peoples homes is often because clubs include strangers. Clubs host themes and it might not be what the parties involved are looking for ..

Ive attended many a party at peoples homes.

Thanks man, I might tone it down to 0.25mg Ativan.  Just enough to shake off any initial jitters; I’m gonna be shaking like a tuning rod while trying to do my thing there at first.  Thankfully my wife always keeps me cool and relaxed, she’s the more outgoing one too, I can be smooth and social when the time calls, etc.. so Ativan or no Ativan it’ll be great. 

So about Cialis.  I normally have no erection issues but I guess my experience is hours long endurance-fucking sessions can sometimes make it harder to maintain one.  would it be useful to someone who generally can perform alright?  I’d need to get a script first too..
