May our names touch on the terrorist list

Being a terrorist isn't so bad. Works out in the end, j 6thers got paid a few years in.  Terrorist is charged word like genocide,  over used and doesn't amount to much.

Terrorist is mostly now a label trump gives to people who dont agree with him.

Genocide is what's associated with Israel's actions in Gaza.

Terrorist is a word reserved for middle eastern people. When white do it, it's called an insurrection, or something even more tame.

The only exception is when white people stand in support of middle eastern people, like in the UK, where they are arresting middle aged men and women for having the audacity to even think about protesting the war in Gaza.

Idk, they already labeled ANTIFA a domestic terrorist organization. If you hear what Rubio and Stephen Miller are saying about DSA, they're informally calling it a terrorist group and claiming DSA is against God.

DSA becoming popular was unpredictable already. Who knows what could happen. I'd personally be ecstatic if we skipped straight to undemocratic socialism. I have serious doubts that Americans can be trusted to democratically vote on making sacrifices that are long overdue. I'm happy DSA is winning, but the depth of shit we're in economically is going to become way more apparent as we start slowly making changes. Taxing rich people might buy a little time, but we need systemic changes.

Wouldn't be surprised if corporate pro war democrats aren't afraid of DSA losing to maga, but are actually nervous about DSA beating maga and showing voters and alternative to the milk toast fecklessness of DNC centrism.

Milquetoast*

But yes, centrist Dems are more in-line with MAGA, than they are with DSA.

Look at Michigan, though. Outside PACs have spent over $50 million to beat El Sayeed in a PRIMARY, and they are likely to lose. It says a lot on behalf of DSA candidates.

DSA is about to gain a very significant amount of power in the US... I hope they are prepared to use it wisely, but I am fearful that they are not.

Then it will be crushed like all before it. Unless it takes over as a dictatorship.

So if it wins it will lose..

The DNC has made a habit of losing because they fundamentally dont disagree with arming and abetting genocide, and won't call it out or stand against it or focus on using taxes for people in America and instead drone on about giving Israel more money.

The DSA movement is more akin to the tea party movement the republicans had.

If El Sayad wins in michigan, it will be a showcase for how to effectively message against the DNC at a minimum. The general will see how well it works overall.

Kinda surprised the blue state of Michigan even has a shot of winning anything at that level until about 2030. Im pretty sure that making your citizens rat out your neighbors during covid and abusing the fine system for people going to the hardware stores almost got their democrat governor kill 4 different times. If I remember correctly only 1 out the "4 attempts" were a alt right group. If you think the dsa are like the tea party then what are we even doing here.

No... Greens are not a serious party, and DSA are not a party at all.

Your making the DSA’s the kinda of organization that says hail hydra as they greet each other while hiding as democrats. Recently they have shown themselves without fear , or are you say that powerful DSA’s branch of democrats party can't pay the filing fees to be on their ballots on a state by state basis. Cause if either of my strawman argument im making of your accountable to your thought process.  Again what are we doing here?if they are to weak to survive on there own or can't afford to then they can never take over to enforce major policies.

DSA is more like a general policy platform.

That said, Mamdani and El Sayad aren't toe to toe with it, they just have good policies and are great communicators.

DSA I believe has "abolish the police" on their official platform. No serious politician can openly advocate something like that, unfortunately.

That part is pretty disappointing tbh. That the very people running for office as DSA are waffling on their previous positions. Here's a few tweets that media are quizzing Francesca Hong about.

"Cancel Thanksgiving. . . We should stop celebrating colonialism and the original superspreader event that killed Indigenous. . ."

That's raw, unabashed truth right there.

"Police exist to uphold white supremacy. Defund then abolish. Reform can't be an option."

I'd replace white supremacy with corporatocracy, but yea the police don't serve the people, they serve the property owners.

I get that she's softening her stances to try to win a general election... but it just shows that the democratic system is going to fall short of big changes like returning stolen land. It's disappointing that she can't use her platform to say these things that we all know are true. Trump doesn't hold back extreme views. Bernie wasn't afraid to call out systemic injustice. The voters are becoming allergic to moderation. I'd rather she just own it.

Cancelling thanksgiving wouldn't be so hard, but in the grand scheme that's a pitiful tribute to the indigenous. The closer we get to being open and honest about how historically evil America has been, the more apparent it will become that we can't just move millions of people somewhere else, we can't tackle affordability without continuing global colonialism, we can't actually get rid of police. Which just makes these statements even more hollow than they already became when she backtracked on them. I'm worried she was just saying radical things for attention and has no plan whatsoever? Or even worse - that her plan is to just hypocritically "fix" capitalism for the working class. I don't want better living standards, I want a better world, a better global civilization.
