Nope nope nope. You obviously can see the potential for fraud, dude. Just accept that you don't have any evidence to refute that. It shouldn't be hard to do the math and figure there's virtually nothing stopping someone, and no way to definitively know who is abusing the loopholes or how much.

If you're so confident that there's no dishonesty or fraud happening, then it shouldn't be a big deal to add photo ID checks. It should be worth it if only to disarm the right's very credible claims that fraud could be happening.

As the one making the claim that there's an issue you have the responsibility to show that there's an issue. All I know is that you may or may not have put fake info into a government website. According to Ballsalsa it already happens every election; so the issue exists. People just choose to believe they catch it 100% of the time.

My state has required photo ID for as long as I've been a registered voter; which required my birth certificate, driver's license, and social security card to register. No one here bitches about "poll tax". The fee is about $30 for an ID. We could literally buy every person in the country an ID and nullify this "poll tax" problem for a fuck ton less than it would cost to politically and legally fight such a dumb issue.

Anyway, I don't even really give a fuck if Cali's elections are secure or not, I only started this to correct someone claiming that you need an ID to vote. Then you made five posts challenging that; insisting they do need to be identified, even after I've quoted the exact relevant clauses in the linked regulations that exempt it. And now your argument is that they shouldn't require ID at all? Way to complete the circular logic.
