I didnt realize that gmo x oz kush bx2 is a breeder exclusive strain and I just got dumb lucky to find a couple seeds in an ounce I got.

I hit it with my real deal MAC f2 fem pollen. Should be an insane cross 🔥


Edit: it was also the first seed I ever successfully performed an embryo rescue on. The seed was deformed and would not open so I opened it and got the embryo to grow*

Yeah sounds like it’ll be a kick ass cross ive got some bag seeds that need to run. I saw the embryo surgery survivor that’s was pretty awesome.

Regalia arrived last week. Its very thick and syrupy, seems like a straight up vegetal extract. I sprayed everything down with it yesterday, I’ll update on how it works out. Im wondering if a knot weed tea would be similar?


The nettle compost tea i started last week is fermenting away, it smells god awful already and even worse now that I’ve added some fish emulsion to it. I’m gonna let it sit for another week before I use it, should be really rank by then!



Going to be a hot one here this week with several days at 100 or above. Praying mantises have been busy keeping guard, everything else is chugging along. :cheers:

Threw together and filled a 4x8 cedar bed today, two of my plants have been stepped on in the process. :facepalm:

It will be nice to have all that room for planting though.  This one’s going to be a dedicated berry bed.

The regalia looks like a KNF style FPJ (fermented plant juice). You chop up fresh plant material, cover it in brown sugar, and squeeze it to break up cells. The sugar creates osmotic pressure and pulls the liquid out of the plant material, and creates a syrup like that.

The nettle brew you are making is technically a FPE (fermented plant extract). The anaerobic microbes break down the plant material and release nutrients into the water. They smell terrible, but plants do love it.

Compost tea is a little bit of compost with a small amount of food for the microbes. It's best to aerate it and use after 24-36 hours IMO, but some don't. I think the non aerated version is sometimes called a compost slurry, and uses more compost.

Your plants look great, and mantises are fearsome garden guardians!

They are actually doing really good. A little bit of bug damage on some leaves here and there but nothing crazy at all. There is actuslly a bunch of young praying mantises that have colonized my garden so that seems to help :lol:

My gas goblin has gotten HUGE. If I go outside later ill tske some pics 👍


Edit: im suprised they survived all the tornadoes we've had recently 😅
