 Hydroponic Shrooms? Are the idiot rights?

I have grown a few in my day, except for my cursed Burma?s. I often hear people who know little to nothing about growing shrooms. All they know is that they pop out of thin air and they eat them and they "trip face." They often refer to something called "hydroponic Shrooms." Has anyone else hear this? I don't think that such a thing exists.

You thought right. Hydro shrooms are just a myth created as yet another ploy to sell at higher prices on the street.

Yeah hydroponic shrooms are bullshit, but people get the notion from the use of things such as hydroton and what not to grow them. They dont understand what hydroponic means. Next time someone says such a thing, just a simple backhand will suffice.

If u think about it the pf tek is hydro shrooms if u catch my drift.
the only shrooms i wouldnt consider hydro shrooms would be bulk grown.
try growing shrooms without water 
i still wouldnt call them hydroponic shrooms though. thats just silly.

hydroponic is a method of growing PLANTS by providing the all nutrients a plant needs to the ROOTS of the PLANTS via a hydrous mixture. mushrooms dont eve have roots. And dont say mycelium is mushrooms' roots, cause its a completely different structure and system of growth. completely different. if you think of it... THERES NO SUCH THING as hydropnic shrooms.
not to mention, just cause you water a plant, doesnt make it hydroponic. so using water in any mushroom cultivation technique doesnt make it hydroponic.

i guess thats true, since the definition says specifically a plant grown without soil. since a mushroom isnt considered a plant, that makes it impossible to make hydroponic mushrooms. i stand corrected.

now Hydro shrooms is another thing completely, maybe someone heard hyrdo shrooms awile back and it changed into hydroponic on account of ignorance.

From what I can tell, "hydroponic shrooms" refers to grown shrooms rather than picked shrooms, probably on BRF/verm.

when differing homegrown to picked, we usually call them "Lab" shrooms. It sounds cool too.
And once again, people who call them hydro shrooms should be slapped.
