I've seen the data floating around about it being an estimated 1-2 dozen House seats in question nationwide, all propped up by counting non-citizens on the census. I didn't think to pin the data down yet, but as soon as something floats
my way again, I'll share it.

So the original data floated away ?
What I'm saying isn't hard to under to understand , Texas has about the same number of illegals , but way less people overall .  Florida has about a million but only about of California's  population
Can your big brain see the problem ?

Wait until it quietly doesn’t happen at all. Then you’re going to see some serious nothing, again.

Could be a little more, could be a little less, but it's a significant and substantial number. I'm not an expert on these matters, but I know if 15+ million illegals no longer get counted on the census, that's a HUGE and almost untouchable shift in power in the House.

Here comes...

even if your fantasy numbers are to be believed, anyone within the borders of the USA deserves representation.  what pedo trump and pedo republicans are trying to do is cheat democracy.  lets not fuck around here.

All about reducing waste and fraud here folks

Quote:
The investigation reveals that Extremity Care LLC, a company that sells expensive bandages made from discarded placentas, donated $5 million to MAGA Inc., Trump's Super PAC, on February 24, 2025. Six days later, Trump posted on Truth Social attacking a Biden administration rule that would have barred Medicare from covering Extremity Care's products, which can cost thousands of dollars per square inch despite lacking scientifically proven benefits.

Quote:
The skin substitute industry has grown into one of the largest examples of Medicare waste in history, with spending on these products exceeding $10 billion in 2024 – more than double the figure from 2023. Companies take advantage of a Medicare loophole that allows them to set their own reimbursement rates for new products during the first six months, regardless of actual market prices.

Extremity Care's products exemplify the pricing practices under scrutiny. Their Coll-e-Derm bandage costs $11,051.10 per square inch, while CompleteFT costs $7,812.38 per square inch. Meanwhile, scientifically proven alternatives like Oasis wound matrix cost just $75.51 per square inch.

I'm all for non citizens not being able to vote. However, they should pay taxes and abide by the laws. Which by and large, that's exactly what they do. So it seems to be working.

Although ICE just ransacked two big Mexican restaurants in my area. They literally tore down ceilings and trashed the place. Thank god, what would we do if those harmless tax paying workers didn't live in fear?

Gerrymandering breaks down during wave elections. Instead of having a few strong republican districts, Texas is creating a lot of moderately republican districts with ~10% margins that are vulnerable if democrats outperform.

not sure if I mentioned this here, but I just built a new windows PC (I generally work in the linux space) and in the 6 weeks between when I purchased my parts and now, they've gone up nearly ~$250.  these tariffs and all of the other assaults on the economy are hitting hard and fast.

in other news, for any of you sweating win 10 EOL, win 11 has finally shaped up into a decent version of windows.  certainly the case if you have fancy new hardware too.  use MCT to create nearly current build media, activate it via github/massgravel, install chipset/nic drivers, update it, run winutil to your tastes, browse services.msc for any offensive auto services, test, then write a DR image to a USB stick and chuck it in a drawer.

I went with win 11 edu since its home + bitlocker and the group policy stuff, which I use.

I have been struggling to update my one W10 machine control to W11. Effffing language compatibility is trying to erase the PC to run the update, and the compatibility doesn't like that the hardware is super old. My CAD software is requiring W11 so I have to update. Fucking Windows. Drives me crazy.

If we had the infrastructure to do that then I don't see why not. Takes probably decades to get the infrastructure to build every component though... Did you not watch the video about the tangerines?

I'm not a democrat or republican, but I'll be voting next year for the first time... I'll be voting blue because I want cannabis legalized here, and dan patrick has to go before that'll ever happen

Are you seriously will to throw all other policies out the windows and vote blue just to get weed slightly easier.

yep I'm stuck here for at least another 3yrs(can't move until my kid graduates).... these ultra conservative fucks running this state have gotten to the point of trying to ban hemp derived thca products saying, it's to protect the kids... if they were trying to ban all intoxicants to "protect the kids" I'd be ok with that, but alcohol isn't  being banned and it kills more kids than weed has ever killed...I've been here for almost 20yrs and own 2 houses here and shit is just now getting to the point I can't stand the fuckers running the state

the main reason weed ain't legal here already is Dan Patrick's(he's said Texas will never legalize cannabis as long as he's in office) bitch ass taking bribe money from alcohol companies to keep it illegal...hence the proposed ban of consumable hemp drived thca products, the texas compassionate use program(TCUP) is a joke.. the shit they sell as "medical" isn't any better than hemp derived thca you can buy at damn near every gas station now.. as long as SB5 isn't passed

well I'm not someone that lives in mommy's basement

🤣🤣 I'm a property maintenace foreman and have been for 10+yrs, been here in texas for almost 20yrs and own 2 houses here... pay taxes and all that good shit... fuck moving we just need to get rid of Dan Patrick mainly.. wheels(abbott) is alright and I think he'd legalize tax and regulate cannabis because he knows a lot of us Texans want it legalized... every state around us is recreational or has a decent medical marinuana program
