Eating Vermiculite?

now that my friend has finally gotten his first flush, has the shroomies nice and dried, hes planning his trip !  :slider:

however, the shrooms he has, when he broke em off the cake, have a bit of verm on the ends.  he tried to dust it off best he could but just couldnt get some of it off. think its best to take that off, maybe shave a bit of the shroom off to get rid of the verm, or just down the verm with the shroom? anyone ever done this, or anyone know if this is the worst idea in the history of ideas?

Well, I have heard in the past that since it is inert it should be safe, as long as you dont swallow a whole lot.

well ive heard that vermuculite is toxic so i wouldnt eat it. id just cut off the part with it.

Vermiculite can be really sharp when it is flattened. A big piece could be enough to roughen up your intestines a bit. I imagine, even if it did anything to you, you wouldn't feel much more than a little stomach cramp and maybe, in the worst case scenario, you might have a little blood in your shit.

Perlite is the bad one to breath and very bad if ingested...
A little verm wont hurt you and it should come off a dry shroom prettyy easily
